There will be natural disasters around us at different times in our lives. We duck for cover to protect ourselves from the elements that we may incur from these natural disasters. However, there are some storms that come on us that are brought to us, not by natural disaster, but by someone who has cruel intentions. These intentions are set in place to harm or even possibly destroy us. We must find peace in the midst of a storm.


We know that the Lord watches over us. He cares about our welfare. He stands to ward off harmful situations that can come in our direction.


In Mark 4:35-41 tells of a destructive storm that threatened to destroy the crew that was in a boat. Jesus was asleep in the back of the boat, at rest and at peace. Jesus wasn’t worried about anything that might come against them. And this is how we must be. Matthew 6:25 gives us confidence in God. Jesus will calm the storms in our life just as he cares for birds of the air. So, Worry Not …
