It was the Blood of Jesus that caused our sins to be forgiven. We celebrated Communion yesterday. That commemorated the Sacrifice of Jesus’ death on a cross. The word celebrate is not a good term used for this horrific injustice done to Jesus. He willingly died a gruesome death for our sins and this act of atonement caused us to be reconciled back to God. (Hebrew 9:22b says Without the shedding of blood there is no remission..

What can wash away my sins… nothing but the Blood of Jesus .. what can make me whole again … nothing but the Blood of Jesus. We have the right to stand before God justified because our sins have been forgiven.
