The love of the world is different from the love that is described in the Bible. Biblical love is selfless and unconditional. The love of the world is selfish and lustful. Jesus said Love one another as I have loved you. Think about this … can we love someone else if we don't love for ourselves? We should treat others how we treat ourselves. When we love ourselves that love is transferred to others. We treat others how we want to be treated. When we send out love we hope that love is returned. To have love for others we must have love for ourselves.
