We are experiencing a huge gap in our relationship with the Lord. Instead of being led by the Lord, we are choosing a king to lead us.

Just as Israel chose a king, we are following suit. Samuel was saddened that Israel wanted a king, but God told him to let Israel have their way, for they did not reject him, they rejected Me. God told Samuel what is expected from a king. He will take your sons and daughters into his service, take a tenth of your crops and your live stocks, they will pay higher taxes and in the end they will cry out and the Lord will not hear them.

Our nation is in a Godless position, and we have gotten here because there are those who want to be like other countries. A tyrant to lead us instead of God leading us. These are critical times and we must turn to God and let Him lead us
