The Oil of The Holy Spirit is not really a substance, it is referring to the Power and Presence of The Holy Spirit. When we allow The Holy Spirit to reign and rule in our lives, we are imbued with the anointing of The Spirit. We will be inspired to evangelize or help in some other ministry to move the church forward. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God, He comes to comfort us, stand by us and to help us in times of need. He illuminates us, He makes us aware of the Holy things of God and guides us to truth and understanding. He nourishes us, gives us strength to go forward when we face earthly challenges. We must allow The Holy Spirit to control us so that we will do the will of God.
