Is there a certain someone who you consider a friend? I’m not referring to an acquaintance, I'm talking about someone who you can depend on. Someone that you know if you were in need of something they would come to your aid or make arrangements to help you. We have a friend that sticks closer than a brother. His name is Jesus, He’ll hear our faintest cry and answer by and by. What a friend we have in Jesus … all our sins and griefs to bear … what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.. This old Hymn has significant meaning. It tells of the relationship we have in Christ, and this relationship develops over time. Jesus is not only our savor … He’s our friend.
