Our character indicates where we are spiritually. When we are in the right place, doing the right things, we are standing on Solid Ground. This means that we are secure in our belief system. We are putting God first, following His commanments and doing those things that He has outlined in His Word.

Solid Ground is being in a relationship with God, having the fear of God in our members. This fear doesn’t mean being afraid, it is having an awesome respect for Him, not wanting to disappoint Him.

When we are in Christ and He in us, we are on Solid Ground. We recognize who He is to us, not only to us, but to the world. Peter made a startling confession, in Matthew 16:18. Jesus was asking the disciples, "Who do men say that I AM?" Notice Jesus used the term “I AM”. which is translated in Hebrew as "YHWH". He was saying who He was when He asked them who He was to them. Peter made the Caesarean confession, ”You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!”

When Peter’s confession becomes real to us, we are on Solid Ground.
