Having the strength to move forward while not regarding the danger is being courageous, having the ability not to give up even though it is hazardous and harmful. There may be no one following, when we are on this trek and most of the time we are alone. This is when we do not depend on ourselves. We must gather strength from on high from God. He said that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

When we are being led by the Spirit of God, we realize that we with Him are a majority. We can face any trial that challenges us. We are not alone. Don’t try to do anything without God, even the simplest task can be overwhelming.

David, when faced with stoning, in 1 Samuel 30:6, said that he strengthened himself in the Lord his God. David didn’t try to go up against overwhelming odds to fight his way out of that situation. It says that he called for the priest to inquire of the Lord.

When we are faced with a difficult challenge, call on God to gain courage and direction to move forward.
