I want to encourage you not to get discouraged. We serve a God who loves us deeply. It is not His desire for us to hurt, be harmed or be disillusioned by what is happening around us. What we are experiencing is a break-down of our Christian values and these Christians values come in the form of loving one another. Jesus said in John 12:34-35, "A new commandment I give you. That you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you love one another." We are to act according to His Word.

We cannot deviate from God’s command. We must love the ones that are standing on the off-ramp of the freeways, we must have a heart for those who are alone and need a helping hand.

We are being conditioned to believe that the world has our best interest, we are to live in this world, but be separated from it. We are to adhere to our Christian values and trust God. It is He that we depend on.
