1. Food Ministry

“I was hungry and you gave me food……” Matthew 25:35

COMMUNITY is one of our values. We value demonstrating Christ-like love towards each other and sharing this love in the community.

Our food pantry has been set up and in the month of May 2026, at least 200 food parcels were given out to families in the church’s vicinity.

2. Men's Ministry

Men’s breakfast:

Men at West Side Baptist Church have met twice in the year, so far, to share breakfast. This is meant to foster spiritual growth, fellowship, mentorship and accountability amongst the men to become better sons, husbands and fathers.

The date of the next breakfast will be announced soon.

3. Music Ministry

We have David Bryant playing the piano during church services.

The church is in need of more skills to form a praise team and interested parties are encouraged to contact:

4. Covalescent Ministry

“Do not cast me away when I am old: do not forsake me when my strength is gone” Psalm 71:9.

We need more people to join in visits to Citrus Nursing Home on 1st and 3rd Tuesday’s of the month. The physically infirm who are confined to nursing homes need spiritual strengthening.

5. Women's Ministry

Women of the Word is a group that is meant to foster spiritual growth and fellowship among women of different ages.
