It seems like the more we lean on education, the more we become devoid of wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to make sound decisions through knowledge and experience. We don’t need to be extremely intelligent to be wise. We just need to draw on experience and sound judgement, and this judgement and experience come from what has been instilled inside us.

To know God is to fear Him. This fear does not mean to be terrified of Him, but to be in awe of Him in a profound way, with much respect. Proverbs tells us that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” That means we stand in awe because He is all-powerful, with His all-loving presence. James says, if we lack wisdom, we can ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without finding fault, and it will be given to us.

When we use knowledge rightly we walk in Wisdom.
