Jesus’ first advent was when He came as a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes laying in a manger surrounded by farm animals. He was born as a helpless child and a suffering servant to be the savior of the world. He came for a specific purpose and that was to die for the sins of the world.

In Acts 1:11 it says two men dressed in white said, "Ye men of Galilee, why stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven."  Jesus is coming back for His church. The second time Jesus comes, it will be with power to defeat the antichrist and establish peace on earth.

However, between those two times, He will come to take His church out of the earth. It is called the Rapture, which means being snatched away. This will be sudden. Jesus is coming back. He has been here once and He is coming again.
